Ubiquiti UniFi CyberSecure is an advanced, subscription-based network security service created in partnership with Proofpoint and Cloudflare. The Standard Edition is designed for small and medium-sized businesses and demanding home users who want to enhance the security of their UniFi-based network. The service replaces free, basic filters with professional, constantly updated threat databases.

The main advantage of this version is the extensive intrusion detection and prevention system (IDS/IPS) powered by Proofpoint, which monitors network traffic based on a database of over 55,000 threat signatures across 53 categories. Additionally, thanks to integration with Cloudflare, the service significantly improves built-in Content Filtering, unlocking over 100 specific domain categories. This allows for extremely precise blocking of access to unwanted websites from entire VLANs or specific client devices.

A unique feature of the standard version is support for Memory Optimized Mode. It was designed for lower-cost network gateways with smaller hardware resources (e.g., the UniFi Cloud Gateway Ultra, Max, or UDM-Pro series). In this mode, the system limits the database to approximately 30,000 key signatures and 36 categories, enabling advanced Proofpoint protection without drastically reducing routing performance or increasing CPU load in smaller devices. All traffic analysis is performed locally on the device, ensuring complete privacy and low latency.
