TP-Link Tapo L530E is a multicolor, smart LED bulb with a standard E27 thread, offering a full RGB color palette (16 million shades) and smooth white light temperature adjustment from 2500K (warm white) to 6500K (cool white). At a maximum power consumption of 8.7W, the device generates a luminous flux of 806 lumens. The light spread angle is 220 degrees. The built-in control module allows for precise dimming from 1% to 100% and features a hardware memory that ensures the device always restores the last used parameters after being turned on again.

The bulb communicates with the home network exclusively via Wi-Fi in the 2.4 GHz band (Wi-Fi 4). This is a standalone solution, meaning there's no need to purchase additional control units or IoT gateways. Control is via the Tapo mobile app, where you can define detailed operating schedules, save your own lighting profiles (e.g., for home cinema or reading), and automate lighting based on the current sunrise and sunset times for a given time zone. The device seamlessly integrates with smart home systems, offering native voice command support via Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.

To improve safety while away, the software features an "Away" mode. When activated, the bulb turns on and off at random intervals, simulating the presence of household members. Its lifespan is estimated at 15,000 hours of continuous operation and approximately 15,000 on/off cycles. .
