TP-Link EAP225 dual-band AC1350 access point, gigabit Ethernet
TP-Link EAP225 is an access point compatible with EAP Controller software. It is equipped with a gigabit Ethernet port and enables the transmission of a WiFi wireless network in two bands simultaneously - 2.4 and 5 GHz. Supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac standards. The total maximum theoretical wireless transmission throughput is 1317 Mb/s - 450 Mb/s in the 2.4 GHz band and 867 Mb/s in the 5 GHz band. The built-in antennas have an energy gain of 4 dBi (2.4 GHz) / 5 dBi (5 GHz). An additional advantage is the MU-MIMO technology, which enables simultaneous sending and receiving of data from many connected devices, which significantly improves the operation of the wireless network.
EAP Controller software allows you to centrally manage multiple access points. It makes configuring an extensive network much easier, even in multiple locations. It enables, among others: remotely updating software on connected devices, monitoring work in real time or planning a wireless network through range visualization. It also allows you to create a unique hotspot welcome page and introduce various types of authentication. The software is completely free.
EAP225 has been designed for ceiling mounting, the kit includes appropriate mounting elements. Power is supplied via passive PoE or 802.3af. The set includes a power supply with passive PoE.
