Chateau LTE6 ax is one of the SOHO routers belonging to the MikroTik Chateau family. MikroTik in this case decided on a quad-core ARM 64bit processor, 1GB of RAM and 128MB of NAND disk space.

The router has 4 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet ports and one 2.5Gbps Ethernet port. In addition to network interfaces, there is also a full-size USB 2.0 port on the rear panel of the device. Additional disk space will be useful for e.g. saving logs or running the DUDE server.

WiFi connectivity is provided by two WiFi6 compliant interfaces. The interface operating in the 5GHz band is compatible with the 802.11a/n/ac/ax standards, while the 2.4GHz will support devices compatible with 802.11b/g/n/ax. Both modules use dual 2x2 MIMO antennas with 4dBi and 2dBi gain. The antennas are unscrewed, which allows the use of stronger antennas if necessary. The maximum supported speeds are 1200Mbps and 574Mbps respectively.

In the case of the Chateau LTE6 ax router, one of the Internet connection options is a built-in LTE modem. The interface supports LTE category 6, which means that it can reach 300Mbps for downloads and 50Mbps for uploads.
