Ubiquiti G2 Starter Kit Pro (UA-G2-SK-Pro) is a comprehensive starter kit designed to build a complete entry and exit access control system for a single door. The package includes the main controller (Door Hub), the G2 Reader Pro, the G2 Reader, and two contactless Pocket Keyfobs. The system supports up to 6,000 users and is centrally managed via the UniFi Access application.
The main controller (Door Hub), measuring 174.9 x 126 x 32.9 mm, is powered via PoE++. The device is equipped with five 10/100/1000 Base-T network ports, four of which can function as PoE outputs (up to 30W per port, with a total combined budget of 45W). The controller features built-in 12V and dry contact relays (Dry Output Relay) to operate electric locks, as well as dedicated terminals for door position sensors, exit buttons, and emergency systems.
The G2 Reader Pro and G2 Reader operate at 13.56 MHz and support various NFC standards (including MIFARE DESFire and Sony FeliCa). The Pro version additionally features an integrated 12 MP camera (video streaming at 2MP at 30 FPS), a 4.7-inch touchscreen, PIN unlocking, facial recognition, and a two-way intercom with a built-in microphone and speaker. Both readers are IP55-certified for weather resistance, allowing for safe operation both indoors and outdoors.
Completing the kit are two dedicated Pocket Keyfobs that serve as digital keys for quick tap-to-unlock authorization. Each keyfob weighs 16 g, features an enclosure reinforced with stainless steel and silicone rubber accents, and is IP54-rated for environmental protection.
