It supports NFC card and keyfob access, mobile unlock via the UniFi Identity mobile app, and hand-wave request-to-exit functionality for seamless user experience. With a polycarbonate and glass enclosure and IP55 weatherproofing, it ensures durability in various environments. The reader connects via PoE through a 10/100 MbE RJ45 port and supports in-wall or gang-box mounting, with an optional junction box. It is compatible with all UniFi Access Control Hubs, enabling flexible deployments with other UniFi Access Readers, Hubs, and Intercoms. The device meets UL 294 compliance for security and reliability and supports ADA accessibility standards when mounted at 121.92 cm. Cat 5e cabling is recommended for optimal performance.
