The UA-G2 is ideal for internal doors, meeting rooms, or external entry points in small offices, retail spaces, or residential settings requiring basic access control without advanced monitoring. It integrates with the UniFi Access platform, allowing management via the UniFi Access application or cloud-based portal. The reader supports NFC cards (ISO/IEC 14443A/B, 15693, 18092, MIFARE Classic, DESFire, NFC Forum tags) and Bluetooth mobile credentials for user authentication. It is compatible with all UniFi Access Control Hubs, enabling flexible deployments with other UniFi Access Readers, Hubs, and Intercoms. The device meets UL 294 compliance for security and reliability and supports ADA accessibility standards when mounted at 121.92 cm. Cat 5e cabling is recommended for optimal performance.
