Ubiquiti PoE Smart Chime – Wired Indoor PoE Chime
Ubiquiti PoE Smart Chime (UACC-Chime-PoE) is a plug-and-play indoor chime designed as a direct expansion for UniFi Protect video doorbells and UniFi Access control terminals. The device emits sound up to a maximum volume of 80 dB using a built-in speaker and buzzer. The module alerts household members or office staff of visiting guests, eliminating the need to rely solely on smartphone notifications.
Unlike standard wireless chimes, this model communicates and receives power exclusively via a single Ethernet cable (PoE standard, 44–57V DC voltage). The use of a 10/100 MbE port with a maximum power consumption of only 3W guarantees operational stability without range issues or interference typical of Wi-Fi networks. The device is ready to work right out of the box – once plugged into a PoE switch, it is instantly discovered by the controller and ready for assignment in the UniFi Protect or UniFi Access applications.
The chime's construction is based on polycarbonate as well as aluminum and zinc alloys. The module is additionally equipped with a multi-color RGBW LED status indicator and industrial electrostatic discharge protection (ESD up to ± 8kV in air). The set includes adapters allowing both quick surface mounting and discreet flush mounting to align the device flush with the wall surface. The chime is intended exclusively for indoor use.
