The Ubiquiti UniFi Access G2 Reader Pro (UA-G2-Pro) is a second-generation access reader and intercom designed for secure indoor and outdoor door access control within the UniFi Access ecosystem. It features an integrated camera, NFC card and keyfob access, PIN access, mobile unlock via the UniFi Identity mobile app, and two-way intercom with doorbell functionality. The reader supports face unlock when paired with a UniFi Protect camera. With a polycarbonate and glass enclosure and IP55 weatherproofing, it is built for durability in various environments. The device connects via PoE through a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet interface and supports wall or gang-box mounting, with optional angle mount and junction box accessories. The UA-G2-Pro integrates with the UniFi Access application for centralized management of user permissions and access logs.

The UA-G2-Pro is ideal for commercial buildings, offices, or residential complexes requiring advanced door access control with video monitoring. It integrates with the UniFi Access platform, allowing management via the UniFi Access application or cloud-based portal. The reader supports NFC cards (ISO/IEC 14443A/B, 15693, 18092, MIFARE Classic, DESFire, NFC Forum tags) and Bluetooth mobile credentials for user authentication. It is compatible with all UniFi Access Control Hubs, enabling flexible deployments with other UniFi Access Readers, Hubs, and Intercoms. The integrated camera and two-way intercom provide real-time visitor screening and communication. The device meets UL 294 compliance for security and reliability and supports ADA accessibility standards when mounted at 121.92 cm, with the camera capturing faces up to 183 cm tall, including wheelchair users. Cat 5e cabling is recommended, with a maximum length of 100 m for 24 AWG.
