Ubiquiti Standard 48 PoE (USW-48-POE) is a high-port-count, managed Layer 2 (L2) switch designed for large business networks. The device is rack-mountable in a 1U enclosure. It features 48 Gigabit Ethernet (RJ45) ports and four 1G SFP slots for uplink connections. PoE+ power is available on 32 ports. The total PoE power budget is 195W, making it suitable for powering devices such as VoIP phones and wireless access points.
The switch offers a total switching capacity of 104 Gbps (52 Gbps non-blocking) with a forwarding rate of up to 77 million packets per second (Mpps). It supports advanced Layer 2 networking features including network isolation, Link Aggregation (LACP), IGMP Snooping, a MAC address table for up to 16,000 devices, and loop prevention protocols (STP and RSTP). Additionally, the switch features a fully passive cooling system for completely silent operation.
The unit is housed in a durable SGCC galvanized steel enclosure. A 1.3-inch LCM touchscreen is located on the front panel.
