Ubiquiti UniFi Protect WiFi Smart Chime (UP-Chime-EU) is a plug-in wireless doorbell designed for use with UniFi Protect video doorbells. The device is an ideal solution for homes and offices lacking a traditional doorbell system or where running wires would be cumbersome. The device connects to the system completely wirelessly – simply plug it into any standard electrical outlet to receive audible notification of visitors in the selected room.

The device communicates with the network using the 2.4 GHz WiFi band (802.11b/g/n standard). The installation process has been simplified to the max: after connecting it to power, the doorbell is detected in the UniFi Protect app and can be automatically configured within the Wi-Fi network. The built-in speaker generates a signal of up to 80 dB, ensuring effective notification even in noisy environments, freeing the user from the need to constantly carry a phone with notifications.

The UP-Chime's small cylindrical design is made of polycarbonate covered with a pleasant-to-touch textile material, allowing the device to blend discreetly into any interior. Five LEDs are located on the front to indicate connection status. The device's electronics are protected against surges and electrostatic discharge (ESD), ensuring long and trouble-free operation.
