UNVR Instant is a network IP recorder supporting up to 15 cameras. The NVR features passive cooling, an integrated 6× GbE RJ45 PoE switch, a GbE RJ45 uplink port, and an HDMI output (Viewport). A 3.5" drive can be installed. It supports 4K cameras (6), 2K cameras (8), or Full HD cameras (15).

The UNVR-Instant is a compact IP network video recorder with passive cooling (fanless design). It features a 6-port Gigabit Ethernet PoE switch (802.3af), allowing direct connection and power for up to 6 × 4 MP cameras. The recorder also includes a 1 × Gigabit Ethernet uplink port, which can be used to connect it to the local LAN or to add an external PoE switch such as , , enabling an additional 9 cameras to be connected. In total, the system can support up to 15 cameras. The UNVR-Instant is equipped with an HDMI output and a slot for a single 3.5" HDD. The device supports 6 × 4K cameras, or 8 × 2K cameras, or up to 15 × Full HD cameras. Cameras with different resolutions can be used simultaneously. Management is performed through the UniFi Protect application in a web browser, via mobile devices, or through UniFi Cloud.
