Ubiquiti Lite 8 PoE (USW-Lite-8-POE) is a compact Layer 2 (L2) switch. The device features eight Gigabit Ethernet ports (1 GbE RJ45). Four of them provide PoE+ power delivery. The total power budget for connected devices (such as cameras, access points, or VoIP phones) is 52W, with a maximum of 30W available per port.
The total switching capacity is 16 Gbps (8 Gbps non-blocking throughput), with a forwarding rate of 12 Mpps. The device supports L2 features, including VLAN separation, port aggregation (LACP), 802.1X control, STP/RSTP protocols, and IGMP Snooping. Cooling is fully passive, ensuring completely silent operation regardless of the switch load.
The enclosure and dedicated mounting plate are made of lightweight polycarbonate, resulting in a device weight of only 295 g. The device dimensions are 99.6 x 163.7 x 31.7 mm. Power is supplied by the included external 60W AC/DC adapter (input voltage 50–57V DC).
