Ubiquiti Standard 16 PoE (USW-16-POE) is a managed Layer 2 (Layer 2) switch designed for 1U rack mounting. The device is equipped with 16 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 8 of which support PoE+. Additionally, the switch has two 1G SFP fiber ports dedicated to uplink connections. The total output power budget for connected devices is 42W, making it suitable for smaller monitoring installations, access points, or VoIP phones. The device offers a non-blocking throughput of 18 Gbps with a total switching capacity of 36 Gbps. The switch supports advanced Layer 2 management, including link aggregation (LACP), port isolation, Jumbo Frames, and 802.1X.
The design is based on a fanless cooling system, ensuring completely silent operation. The enclosure and dedicated mounting brackets are made of SGCC galvanized steel. The device is powered by an integrated 60W power supply, powered by a standard AC connector (100-240V). A 1.3-inch LCM touchscreen is located on the front.
