Ubiquiti Enterprise Storage Expansion (UACC-ESE-16) is a dedicated 3U rackmount expansion unit designed to expand storage capacity in ENAS file servers and ENVR-Core. The device allows for the installation of sixteen additional hard drives in 2.5" or 3.5" format (HDD/SSD).

The entire unit is housed in a 15.5 kg SGCC steel sheet enclosure. To ensure operational continuity and security, the unit is equipped with a redundant power supply system. It is based on two independent, hot-swappable 550W power modules. 500W of this power budget is allocated to powering the installed drives, which guarantees stable system operation even when all sixteen slots are fully populated.

Note: This module does not operate independently - it is fully managed by the main device, to which it is connected via a fast SFF-8644 expansion port with 24G bandwidth.
