Ubiquiti U7 Pro Outdoor (U7-Pro-Outdoor) is an outdoor access point operating on the WiFi 7 (802.11be) standard. The device offers 6 spatial streams and supports over 300 client devices, providing coverage across an area of up to 465 m² (5,000 ft²). It supports dual-band data transmission: delivering throughput of up to 8.6 Gbps on the 5 GHz band (4x4 MU-MIMO, BW240) and up to 688 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band (2x2 MU-MIMO, BW40). The built-in 2.5 GbE RJ45 port enables network connectivity and delivers power via the PoE+ standard (maximum power consumption is 21 W).
The device is equipped with a hybrid antenna system. It features an integrated directional antenna (11 dBi gain for 5 GHz and 8 dBi for 2.4 GHz), while external omnidirectional antennas are also included in the kit. The software (requires UniFi Network controller version 9.0.114 or later) provides features such as Fast Roaming (802.11r), client isolation, Passpoint (Hotspot 2.0), Private Pre-Shared Keys (PPSK), and RADIUS over TLS (RadSec). The device also supports Wireless Meshing technology, simplifying network expansion without laying additional cables.
The access point enclosure is constructed from aluminum alloy and UV-stabilized polycarbonate. The housing is IPX6 rated, weighs 1.2 kg (1.33 kg with mount), and withstands wind loads of up to 200 km/h. An articulated mounting bracket is included in the package, designed for wall or pole installation (compatible with pole diameters from 25 to 63.5 mm).
