MikroTik TG-LR92 is a configurable tag and environmental sensor designed for use in wireless networks for IoT devices. The device is designed to collect data, allowing for simultaneous monitoring of temperature, humidity, and motion detection using a built-in accelerometer. Thanks to the use of a highly accurate temperature sensor compliant with NIST standards, this device is ideal for monitoring supply chains and goods sensitive to thermal changes.
The device features built-in data processing – it can locally generate measurement averages and histograms before sending them. This solution drastically reduces the load on the wireless network while maintaining full information about environmental conditions. An additional advantage is the integrated reed switch, which, when a magnet is placed near it, allows for simple and effective monitoring of door, cabinet, or cover openings.
The device supports LoRaWAN protocol version 1.0.4 (for classes A and B). The sensor features dual-frequency support: 915 MHz (US915 region) and the universal 2.4 GHz frequency. The latter allows for seamless use worldwide without worrying about local radio restrictions (which is crucial, for example, in international maritime transport). It should be noted, however, that for standard, stationary deployments in Europe (where the 863-870 MHz band applies), the manufacturer recommends choosing the twin model TG-LR82.
All electronics are enclosed in a sealed, IP67-certified housing resistant to harsh conditions. A built-in, non-replaceable 1100 mAh battery guarantees many years of operation – up to five years with optimal reporting settings.
