Ubiquiti Access Ultra UA-Ultra is an access control reader with integrated door lock control, supporting one electric strike (12 V DC, 1 A) and a request-to-exit / entry button. It supports NFC cards, MIFARE, ISO 14443A, 14443B and 15693 at a frequency of 13.56 MHz. Data and power are provided through Cat 5e Ethernet with PoE+ (44–57 V DC).

Ubiquiti UA-Ultra – Proximity Access Reader with Electric Strike Control
The Ubiquiti Access Ultra (UA-Ultra) is an access control reader designed to operate a single door by controlling an electric strike or other 12 V DC, 1 A lock. It also includes a digital “exit request” input for a push-to-exit button. The UA-Ultra supports NFC cards and key fobs (13.56 MHz) as well as Mobile Unlock. Communication is handled via Ethernet with PoE+ power.
As part of the UniFi Access system, device configuration and management are performed using the UniFi Access application. The UA-Ultra supports physical credentials such as NFC cards and tags, along with mobile authentication. NFC operation uses the 13.56 MHz band with a read range below 50 mm. The system supports up to 3,000 stored users.
The device communicates through a 10/100 MbE RJ45 interface and is powered via PoE+ (44–57 V DC), with a maximum power draw of 18 W. The built-in relay output (12 V DC, 1 A) provides direct control and power for an electric strike or other door lock. The “exit request” digital input enables connection of an internal push button, allowing scenarios such as a gate opened externally by card or mobile unlock, and internally using a button instead of a mechanical handle.
The Access Ultra is designed for indoor and outdoor use. Its enclosure is made of polycarbonate and aluminum alloy, with stainless steel mounting components. An IP55 rating and an operating range of –30 to 40 °C at 5–90% non-condensing humidity allow installation in typical entry environments.
The device includes RGBW LED indicators for operational status and safety modes, a buzzer for audio alerts, a reset button for factory defaults and an integrated tamper switch. The UA-Ultra meets UL 294, CAN/ULC-60839-11-1, CE, FCC, IC and NDAA compliance requirements.
