The industrial PTZ camera captures 4K (8 MP) video at up to 30 FPS and provides 22× optical zoom, enabling detailed long-range surveillance. It is equipped with adaptive infrared LEDs with a range of up to 100 m for effective night monitoring. The UVC-AI-PTZ-B is powered via PoE++ and features a durable, sealed (IP66-rated) housing designed for harsh outdoor environments. Integrated AI algorithms allow for intelligent image analysis (including person, vehicle, and animal detection, as well as facial and license plate recognition) and automatic tracking of selected objects.
Product Description
Ubiquiti AI PTZ Industrial is an advanced industrial-grade pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) camera designed for 24/7 surveillance of wide areas in demanding environments. It features a sealed aluminum die-cast housing rated IP66, allowing for outdoor installation and operation across a wide temperature range (–40 °C to 50 °C). The package includes mounting accessories supporting multiple installation methods—wall mounting (hanging bracket), pole mounting (pole clamp), or flat surface installation with a desk stand.
The AI PTZ Industrial model is equipped with a 1/1.8" 8 MP image sensor capable of recording 4K UHD (3840×2160) video. The motorized lens with 22× optical zoom enables long-distance observation without loss of detail. The camera’s pan and tilt mechanisms allow for continuous 360° rotation (pan) and 120° vertical movement (tilt), enabling wide area coverage with smooth, low-latency remote control.
The UVC-AI-PTZ-B provides effective nighttime surveillance through an integrated long-range infrared illuminator—adaptive IR LEDs adjust their power dynamically to ensure clear visibility up to 100 m in low-light conditions. An automatic day/night ICR (infrared cut filter) ensures accurate color rendering during the day and enhanced sensitivity at night. AI PTZ Industrial is powered by a quad-core ARM processor with a dedicated AI module for advanced edge analytics. The camera can autonomously detect persons, vehicles, and animals within the scene, as well as recognize faces and license plates. These intelligent features enhance surveillance system efficiency by enabling automatic event detection and object tracking.
Ubiquiti AI PTZ Industrial communicates via Ethernet cable and has one Gigabit RJ45 port that supports both data transfer and PoE++ (IEEE 802.3bt compliant). Maximum power consumption is 51 W, allowing the camera to be powered either by a robust PoE++ switch or a dedicated PoE injector. The camera fully integrates with the Ubiquiti UniFi Protect video management platform. It requires a UniFi Protect recorder (such as UniFi NVR, UniFi Dream Machine Pro, or Cloud Key Gen2+) for operation. Configuration, live view, and playback are managed via the UniFi Protect web interface or mobile app. Additionally, the camera offers an RTSP stream for integration with external VMS systems. A microSD card slot is also provided, allowing local video storage directly on the device for backup purposes in case of network disruptions.
