Ubiquiti UNAS 2 is a compact Network Attached Storage (NAS) server designed for integration with the UniFi ecosystem. It supports the installation of two internal 3.5″ hard drives, providing space for centralized file storage and backups. With support for two drives, users can achieve significant storage capacity and, if needed, configure redundancy with RAID 1 mirroring. UNAS 2 is equipped with 1 × RJ45 2.5 GbE 10/100/1000/2500 Mb/s port and 1 × USB Type-C port with 5 Gb/s throughput for connecting external storage devices or other peripherals.

The UNAS 2 server is powered via PoE++ 802.3bt or a 60 W power adapter (included). On the front panel, there is a built-in 1.47″ color display that shows key system information and allows basic menu navigation. In addition to the screen, the device features a system status LED and a reset button. The integrated Bluetooth 4.1 interface enables initial setup.

UNAS 2 is driven by a quad-core ARM Cortex-A55 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz, paired with 4 GB of RAM. The device runs on the UniFi Drive platform, Ubiquiti’s dedicated software for storage management. To operate correctly, a UniFi controller with the UniFi Drive application (version 3.1.7 or higher) is required.
