Ubiquiti Device Bridge Switch – Multi-Gigabit PoE+ Switch with WiFi 7 Uplink
The Ubiquiti Device Bridge Switch (UDB-Switch) combines the functionality of a high-speed switch with a powerful client bridge. Its primary purpose is to deliver high network throughput and PoE power to locations where physical Ethernet cable deployment is impossible or uneconomical.
The switch is equipped with a wireless uplink port, utilizing the WiFi 7 (802.11be) uplink standard for communication with the main network. Supporting the 6 GHz band (MIMO 2x2), the device eliminates the typical bottleneck of WiFi bridges, offering connection speeds similar to wired connections – up to 5.8 Gb/s (6 GHz). In the absence of WiFi 7, the device operates in the 5 GHz band at speeds of up to 4.3 Gb/s.
Ethernet signal distribution is provided via 1x 10 GbE and 7x 2.5 GbE ports. This configuration allows for the full utilization of modern network cards, NAS servers, and access points. A key feature is that all ports offer PoE+ power output, allowing connected devices to be powered directly from the switch.
The device is powered via a 54V DC socket (54V DC / 1.1A, power supply included). The maximum power consumption of the device itself (without PoE load) is 25W, and the supported input voltage range is 42.5–57V DC. The device features a built-in LCM display for viewing device status.

Device Bridge Switch – Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Unlike other UniFi switches, the Device Bridge Switch includes UniFi WiFi Auto-Link with STR MLO support, providing automatic and stable wireless bridging between UniFi access points.
Note: STR MLO will be supported in future firmware releases.
The Device Bridge Switch provides 35W of PoE power with the included 60W adapter, or up to 185W with the optional 210W adapter.
No. The Device Bridge Switch is specifically designed for wireless bridging using UniFi WiFi Auto-Link and cannot operate as a standalone wireless access point.
Yes. The Device Bridge Switch supports native, tagged, and untagged VLAN management, like other UniFi switches.
Each port on the Device Bridge Switch supports PoE+ output (30W per port), with a total PoE budget of 35W when using the 60W AC adapter, or 185W when using the 210W AC adapter.
The UniFi WiFi Auto-Link connection uses the 5 GHz and/or 6 GHz bands when available from nearby UniFi access points.
STR MLO enables simultaneous, aggregated use of the 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands, providing full-duplex connectivity and significantly higher throughput.
Yes. When connected to a wired uplink at startup, the Device Bridge Switch functions as a wired UniFi switch.
