Ubiquiti 10G Long-Range Direct Attach Cable is an active optical cable (AOC) terminated on both ends with SFP+ transceivers. The product is designed to interconnect switches, routers, and servers in rack cabinets. It is ideal for enterprise server rooms, data centers, and environments requiring high-speed data transmission over distances that exceed the reach of standard copper Direct Attach Cables (DAC).

The cable supports bidirectional data transmission at up to 10 Gbps while maintaining backward compatibility with standard SFP interfaces, allowing speeds to step down to 1 Gbps depending on the connected devices. Signal transmission utilizes OM3 multimode optical fiber operating at an 850 nm wavelength.

The outer jacket, with a diameter of 3.0 mm, is made of aqua-colored PVC, which is the industry-standard color coding for OM3 optical fibers. A minimum bend radius of 30 mm facilitates cable management in high-density rack enclosures without the risk of damaging the optical core. Cables in this series are available in four length variants:  5 / 10 / 20 and 30 meters.
