The Ubiquiti UniFi Enterprise Campus Aggregation (ECS-Aggregation) is a high-capacity Layer 3 switch tailored for high-density aggregation in enterprise and data center infrastructures. Equipped with forty-eight 25G SFP28 and six 100G QSFP28 ports, it consolidates large volumes of upstream traffic from access or distribution switches into high-speed 100G backbones. With non-blocking throughput of 1.8 Tbps and a switching capacity of 3.6 Tbps, the ECS-Aggregation ensures consistent performance under demanding workloads.

The switch is engineered for high availability, supporting Multi-Chassis Link Aggregation (MC-LAG), which allows two switches to function as a redundant pair sharing uplinks. Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP) adds gateway failover capability for seamless Layer 3 redundancy^*. ECS-Aggregation also features dynamic routing using BGP for scalable route distribution^**. With up to 512k routing entries and 256k MAC addresses, the switch is well-suited as a core platform in complex enterprise networks.

Its hardware design prioritizes resilience and reliability: dual hot-swappable 550 W AC power supplies (1+1 redundancy) and five hot-swappable fan modules (4+1 redundancy) ensure uninterrupted operation. The 1U rack-mountable enclosure with a durable SGCC steel chassis and included rail kit integrates easily into standard 19" four-post racks, meeting the physical demands of modern data center environments.

It features a built-in 1.3" touchscreen LCM display for status overview and local management. Ubiquiti’s Etherlighting™ technology allows visual identification of cable connections via customizable illuminated ports – simplifying maintenance, segmentation, and troubleshooting.
