Płyta embedded ALIX.6b2 miniTX jest najnowszym produktem firmy PC Engines. Urządzenie jest następcą płyt embedded z serii WRAP 1.x/2.x. W odróżnieniu od swoich poprzedników płyta została wyposażona w dużo szybszy/wydajniejszy procesor AMD Geode taktowany z szybkością 500 MHz.

256 MB pamięci SDRAM umożliwia współpracę urządzenia z takimi systemami jak np. Linux (Debian itp.). ALIX.6b2 miniTX jest w pełni kompatybilny z systemem MikroTik.

Alix 6b2 został wyposażony w jedno złącze miniPCI, dwa porty ethernet, czytnik kart SIM oraz złącze miniPCI express co umożliwia zastosowanie płyty jako router dla usług sieci GSM ( iPLUS / ORANGE Business Everywhere itp. )

ALIX.6b2 miniTX jest idealnym rozwiązaniem w miejscach gdzie dostęp do internetu jest oferowany wyłącznie przez operatorów GSM. Urządzenie daje nam możliwość podłączenia się do usługi GSM oraz podzielenie łącza bezprzewodowo za pomocą modułu radiowego 2.4GHz / 5GHz lub standardowo za pomocą kabli ethernet.
