MikroTik RB5009UG+S+IN is a powerful SOHO router. It is equipped with 7 Gigabit Ethernet ports, one 2.5Gbps Ethernet and a 10Gbps SFP+ cage. The router is passively cooled - the entire housing is a heat sink!

MikroTik RB5009UG+S+IN is an efficient router for demanding home users and small offices (SOHO). The manufacturer has equipped the router with 7 Gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000Mb/s), 1 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port and a 10Gb/s SFP+ slot (backward compatible with 1.25Gb/s SFP inserts). Additionally, the user has a full-size USB 3.0 port (e.g. for connecting an external hard drive).
All network interfaces are connected to the Marvel Amethyst switch system, which in turn is connected via a full-duplex 10Gb/s bus to the extremely efficient, quad-core Marvell Armada ARMv8 processor clocked at 1.4 GHz. The RB5009UG+S+IN cooling is worth noting - the processor and network interface controller are placed on the bottom of the board, thanks to which the entire device housing acts as one large radiator! Thanks to passive cooling, the router is absolutely silent.
