Product Description
UniFi Switch Pro XG 10 PoE is a professional-grade, 1U rackmount switch that delivers high-performance 10 Gigabit connectivity and advanced Layer 3 capabilities for enterprise networks. It features (10) auto-negotiating 10 GbE RJ45 ports that support multi-gig speeds (10G/5G/2.5G/1G/100M) and (2) 10 GbE SFP+ ports for fiber uplinks or aggregating multiple links. All ten RJ45 ports are 802.3bt PoE+++-enabled, allowing the switch to not only connect but also power a full array of high-bandwidth devices. With its Layer 3 switching functionality (including inter-VLAN routing, static routing, and a DHCP server/relay), the Pro XG 10 PoE can act as a core or distribution switch, efficiently managing local traffic between networks at 10 Gigabit speeds.
The USW-Pro-XG-10-PoE offers a total PoE budget of 400 W, providing up to 90 W on each RJ45 port to support power-hungry devices. This makes it ideal for directly powering next-generation Wi-Fi 6/6E/7 access points, PTZ security cameras, high-performance wireless bridges, or even PoE-driven lighting panels, all while handling their maximum data throughput. An internal 550 W AC/DC power supply is built in, and the switch also supports redundant power via a UniFi SmartPower RPS connection – ensuring uninterrupted operation in mission-critical deployments. The unit’s durable SGCC steel chassis and efficient cooling design (near-silent, temperature-regulated fan operation) keep the switch running reliably within a broad operating range (up to 40°C ambient) in a compact 1U form factor.
As a fully-managed UniFi switch, the Pro XG 10 PoE integrates seamlessly with the UniFi OS ecosystem. It is controlled through the UniFi Network application, allowing centralized management of all ports, VLANs, security settings, and PoE schedules alongside other UniFi devices. For convenient on-site monitoring, the front panel features a 1.3 inch LCM color touchscreen that displays device status, port statistics, and alerts. Additionally, this model introduces Ubiquiti’s innovative Etherlighting™ technology – each Ethernet port is equipped with programmable RGB LED backlighting that illuminates connected translucent patch cables, making cable identification and network troubleshooting visually intuitive.
