Ubiquiti Pro HD 24 (USW-Pro-HD-24) is a Layer 3 managed switch designed for 19" rack installation (1U rackmount form factor). The device provides a total of 24 RJ45 ports, comprising 22x 2.5 GbE ports and 2x high-speed 10 GbE ports. Uplink connectivity is handled by 4x 10G SFP+ slots. Total non-blocking throughput is 115 Gbps, delivering a switching capacity of 230 Gbps and a packet forwarding rate of 171.12 Mpps. A hallmark feature of this model is the Etherlighting™ port illumination technology (available on both RJ45 and SFP+ interfaces), which significantly simplifies the identification of connected devices, link speeds, and VLAN assignments.
The switch provides a comprehensive suite of Layer 3 features, including DHCP server and relay, Inter-VLAN routing, and static routing. At Layer 2, the device supports LACP link aggregation, 802.1X control, STP and RSTP protocols, extensive IGMP configurations (Snooping, Querier, Fast Leave), and dedicated Pro AV profiles to streamline multimedia distribution in networks utilizing standards such as Dante, Q-SYS, NDI, or AES67. The unit features an internal 60W AC/DC power supply (maximum power consumption of the device is exactly 60W). To ensure continuous reliability, the switch is equipped with an additional DC power input, allowing connection to a redundant backup power system (USP RPS).
The chassis, measuring 442 x 285 x 44 mm and weighing 4.2 kg (4.3 kg with mounting brackets), is built entirely from durable SGCC galvanized steel. A 1.3-inch LCM touchscreen is integrated into the front panel. The device is designed for operating temperatures from -5°C to 40°C.
