Ubiquiti Super Range 5 jest kartą o bardzo dobrych parametrach toru radiowego, pracującą w paśmie 5 GHz, opartą na chipsecie Atheros AR5213.

Karta charakteryzuje się wysoką mocą modułu radiowego, dochodzącą do 400mW (26dBm). Parametr ten pozwala realizować linki radiowe na odległości przekraczające 50km.

Super Range 5 wyposażono w konektor MMCX zapewniający znacznie wyższą stabilność połączenia karta - pigtail niż popularny w kartach miniPCI konektor uf.l. Potężny radiator chroni moduł radiowy przed przegrzaniem.

Moduł współpracuje z systemami MikroTik RouterOS, Windows XP oraz Windows 2000. Zgodna jest także z Linux MADWIFI.
