Ubiquiti Ethernet Surge Protection – 10 GbE surge protection device
Ubiquiti Ethernet Surge Protection (UACC-ETH-SP-DIN) is an indoor device designed for bidirectional protection of Ethernet connections against the effects of surges, electrostatic discharges, and electromagnetic pulses. The device supports data transmission speeds of up to 10 Gbps and PoE power, making it suitable for installations with network devices and access points powered over Ethernet.
The device is equipped with two female RJ45 connectors and a circuit capable of discharging surge currents of up to 20 kA. The DC activation voltage is 90 V at 100 V/s, while the maximum impulse activation voltage is 600 V at 1 kV/µs. The design protects data lines against transient overvoltages while maintaining transmission speeds of up to 10 GbE.
The enclosure is made of polycarbonate and SGCC steel. Ubiquiti Ethernet Surge Protection can be installed on a DIN rail or wall and features multiple grounding points, facilitating proper discharge of surge energy.
