Ubiquiti G3 Reader Fingerprint - NFC Access Reader with Fingerprint Scanner and Keypad
Ubiquiti G3 Reader Fingerprint (UA-G3-Fingerprint-B) is a black access control reader designed for indoor and outdoor use. It supports fingerprint authentication, PIN codes, NFC cards and key fobs, Touch Pass, Apple/Google Wallet, and mobile device unlocking, allowing a single access point to offer multiple user authentication methods. The reader is compatible with the , , , and and communicates with the system via a 10/100 MbE RJ45 port.
The built-in capacitive fingerprint scanner supports enrollment of up to 300 users. Biometric data is processed and stored locally on the UniFi console running UniFi Access and then synchronized with compatible hubs and readers.
The NFC module operates at 13,56 MHz and supports standards including ISO 14443A, 14443B, ISO 15693, NFC Tag 1-5, and MIFARE Classic. The NFC reading range is less than 30 mm. The device also features Bluetooth 4.2, a built-in speaker, and multicolor LEDs.
The enclosure is made of polycarbonate and aluminum alloy, while the mounting component is made of steel. The IP55 protection rating allows outdoor installation, although mounting in a location sheltered from rain and moisture is recommended for more reliable fingerprint recognition. The reader can be mounted directly on a wall or an electrical box, with optional installation using a dedicated .
Power is supplied via PoE at 48 V DC, with a maximum power consumption of 5 W. The operating temperature range is from -30 to 50°C, with an allowable relative humidity of 5 to 90% without condensation.
Note: The device requires UniFi OS 6.0 RC, and when used with the Door Hub Mini, firmware version 1.4.8.0 or later is required. The reader is not supported in UID Enterprise.
