TP-Link RE450 is a signal amplifier (repeater) operating in two bands (dual band) 2.4 and 5 GHz simultaneously. One gigabit Ethernet port allows you to use the RE450 also as an external network card. RE450 plugs directly into a power socket (EU plug). Configuration of RE450 is simple and intuitive via an interface available from a web browser.
RE450 has 3 external omnidirectional antennas and works using 3x3 MIMO / triple-chain technology in both bands. The IEEE 802.11 b/g/n (2.4 GHz) / IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac (5 GHz) standards were used to achieve a maximum theoretical throughput of 450 Mb/s (2.4 GHz) / 1300 Mbps (5 GHz). The extender has several useful functions implemented, such as wireless transmission statistics, access control and control diodes.
