TP-Link RE305 is a signal amplifier (repeater) operating in two bands (dual band) 2.4 and 5 GHz simultaneously. One fast Ethernet port allows to use the RE305 also as an access point. RE305 plugs directly into a power socket (EU plug). Configuration is simple and intuitive via an interface available from a web browser.
RE450 has two external omnidirectional antennas and works using 2x2 MIMO / dual-chain technology in both bands. The IEEE 802.11 b/g/n (2.4 GHz) / IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac (5 GHz) standards were used, making possible to achieve a maximum theoretical throughput of 300 Mb/s (2.4 GHz) / 867 Mbps (5 GHz). The device has several useful functions implemented, such as wireless transmission statistics, access control and control diodes.
