MikroTik S+2733LC10D is a pair SFP+ modules designed for building single-mode fiber optic connections with a throughput of 10 Gbps over distances of up to 10 kilometers. Both modules use wavelength division multiplexing (BiDi) technology – they transmit and receive signals at different wavelengths (1270 nm and 1330 nm) using a single optical fiber. This allows for maximum utilization and significant savings on fiber optic cables.
This model was introduced to the market as a direct alternative to the more expensive XS+2733LC15D. Designed for networks that require only the 10G standard to operate efficiently and do not require support for 25G (SFP28) technology. This option allows for efficient network expansion without breaking the budget.
The modules are equipped with a digital diagnostics function (DDM), which monitors key environmental and optical indicators such as signal strength, voltage, temperature, and laser bias current in real time. This allows administrators to quickly detect anomalies, define their own warning limits, and schedule maintenance based on real-world performance data.
