The MikroTik Intercell 10 B38+B39 is a dual-carrier TDD-LTE (3GPP Rel. 12) outdoor base station operating in the 2.6 GHz and 1.9 GHz bands. With 2x 10W of power, carrier aggregation, and SON features, it provides an efficient infrastructure with up to 280 Mbps DL capacity for 192 users.
MikroTik Intercell 10 B38+B39 – Outdoor TDD-LTE Dual-Carrier Base Station
MikroTik Intercell 10 B38+B39 (P02003-B38B39-10W) is an advanced base station designed to operate in the TDD-LTE standard, dedicated to building wireless infrastructure in the B38 (2570–2620 MHz) and B39 (1880–1920 MHz) bands. The device uses a dual-carrier architecture, offering 2x output power (2x 10W), with each RF channel supporting 2x2 MIMO technology. Thanks to the implementation of the 3GPP Release 12 standard and support for carrier aggregation, the unit enables throughputs of up to 280 Mbps downlink (DL) and 60 Mbps uplink (UL) with a 20 MHz channel width.
The system is equipped with an OCXO with frequency stability of ±0.05 ppm and supports multi-level synchronization via GPS, IEEE 1588v2, and Network Listening. A key software element is the SON (Self-Organizing Network) function, which automates frequency configuration, PCI, PRACH, ANR, and TPM, MRO/MLB/TPM parameter optimization, and self-healing mechanisms. The device supports up to 2*192 connected RRC users and 2*96 active users, while also supporting VoLTE, ESRVCC, and CSFB voice services.
The IP66-rated housing guarantees reliable operation in harsh outdoor conditions, within a wide temperature range of -40°C to +55°C. Communication interfaces include a gigabit Ethernet port (RJ45) and an SFP slot, providing flexibility in choosing the transmission medium for the bus. Power is supplied via a standard -48V DC connector, and network management is implemented using the TR069 protocol, which allows for full diagnostics and remote configuration of radio and network parameters.
