MikroTik LHGG LTE7 kit (LHGGR&R11e-LTE7) is a device designed to provide reliable internet access in remote locations. Thanks to its large, directional antenna with a high gain of 17 dBi, the device can establish a stable connection to the cellular network even in places where standard cell phones lose coverage. The heart of the device is a dual-core ARM processor (800 MHz) supported by 256 MB of RAM and the RouterOS v7 operating system (Level 3 license).
A key improvement over the previous model (LHGGR&FG621-EA) is the built-in Category 7 LTE modem. It provides download speeds of up to 300 Mb/s and doubled upload speeds of up to 100 Mb/s. Increased uplink throughput makes the device ideal for tasks such as streaming from surveillance cameras, operating VPN tunnels, or remote work in rural environments. The modem supports an expanded set of cellular frequencies, including the B28 (700 MHz) and B32 (1500 MHz) bands. A built-in Gigabit Ethernet port ensures fast data transfer to the local network.
The device's design has been optimized for operation in harsh climates. The mesh antenna dish enclosure (grid) effectively reduces wind resistance, allowing for safe installation on masts and poles even in very windy areas. The durable housing, a large integrated heat sink, and a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to +70°C guarantee continuous operational stability under constant load. The device is extremely energy-efficient – maximum power consumption is only 8 W, and power is supplied via the PoE-in standard (802.3af/at).
