MikroTik KNOT Gateway HL9 - Wi-Fi HaLow / LTE IoT Gateway (L14G-2ax-BT5-HL9&EG800Q)
The Mikrotik KNOT Gateway HL9 is an outdoor IoT gateway (IP66) that integrates Wi-Fi HaLow (915 MHz), Bluetooth 5.1, and GNSS. Connectivity is provided via a 1 GbE port, a Wi-Fi 6 module (2.4 GHz), and an LTE Cat 1 modem (North American bands). The RouterOS v7 system processes and transmits data to IoT platforms using MQTT or HTTP. The device is powered via PoE-In or a DC terminal (max. 9 W) and features connectors for optional external antennas (BLE and Sub-GHz).

MikroTik KNOT Gateway HL9 - Wi-Fi HaLow / LTE / BLE IoT Gateway
MikroTik KNOT Gateway HL9 (L14G-2ax-BT5-HL9&EG800Q) is a multi-protocol IoT gateway designed to aggregate data from wireless sensors and BLE tags. The device is equipped with a dual-core IPQ-5010 processor clocked at 800 MHz with a 64-bit ARM architecture, supported by 256 MB of RAM. The HL9 version uses an FGH100MABMD Wi-Fi HaLow module operating in the 915 MHz band, a Bluetooth 5.1 (BLE) interface, and a GNSS satellite navigation module. All components are enclosed in an IP66-rated housing, allowing the device to be installed in demanding environmental conditions such as loading yards or telecommunications masts.
KNOT Gateway enables data collection from sensors and tags using Wi-Fi HaLow and Bluetooth technologies and then forwards the data to the upstream network via Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) in the 2.4 GHz band, or the built-in LTE modem. This makes it suitable both for monitoring distributed sensors across large areas and for tracking the presence and movement of goods, pallets, or tools equipped with BLE tags. Collected data can be filtered and processed locally using RouterOS v7 and scripts, then published to target IoT platforms using MQTT or HTTP protocols.
Maximum power consumption is 9 W, and power can be supplied via PoE-In (802.3af/at, 18–57 V) or a 2-pin terminal input (12–57 V). In addition to integrated radio antennas and surge protection, the device features connectors for external BLE and Sub-GHz antennas. Cellular connectivity is available via a Nano SIM slot or the MikroTik Connectivity service using the built-in eSIM functionality.
A version is also available, equipped with an 868 MHz LoRa modem instead of 915 MHz Wi-Fi HaLow, intended for applications requiring LoRa connectivity.
Note: The KNOT Gateway HL9 model with the EG800Q-NA modem supports LTE FDD bands 2, 4, 5, 12, 13, and 66 used in North American networks and is intended for operation in this geographical region.
