MikroTik GPOE-USB – PoE Adapter for USB-C with 2.5G Throughput

MikroTik GPOE-USB is an adapter that allows you to power devices with a USB-C connector and devices requiring 5V DC directly from the LAN. The device converts PoE (802.3af/at) input power to a stable 5V voltage while maintaining completely lossless data transfer (passthrough) at 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet speeds.

The adapter is primarily designed for devices that have a USB-C or terminal-type power input but do not natively support the PoE standard. Typical applications include wall-mounted tablets, minicomputers (e.g., Raspberry Pi), air quality sensors, automation controllers, and other Mikrotik devices.

Unlike typical adapters available on the market, the GPOE-USB offers a total output power of 15W (at 3.0A), easily handling more demanding systems. To maximize versatility, in addition to the USB-C port, the device is equipped with a classic 2-pin terminal connector (DC-out) designed to power custom low-voltage electronics.

The entire package is housed in a compact enclosure measuring just 76 x 40 x 24 mm. Transferring data and power over a single Ethernet cable drastically simplifies installation and reduces cable clutter. The device can also operate stably in extreme ambient temperatures – from -40°C to 70°C.
