MikroTik SXTsq Embedded LTE4 Global (EG25-G&SXTsq) is a cost-effective outdoor router with an integrated 2x2 MIMO directional antenna with 9 dBi gain. The "Global" version features expanded LTE band support, including North America and other non-European (non-EMEA) regions, making it an ideal choice for international projects and multi-regional deployments. The device is ideal for providing a stable connection in rural homes, summer cottages, and construction sites where traditional broadband internet is unavailable. The compact housing meets IP67 waterproofing standards, ensuring reliable operation in harsh weather conditions.
A key advantage of this model is full support for eSIM technology, allowing remote activation of data plans without the need for physical SIM cards. For added flexibility, the manufacturer also equipped the device with a traditional Nano SIM slot. The device is powered by a 32-bit ARM Cortex A7 processor (clocked up to 1.2 GHz) supported by 256 MB of DDR RAM and 256 MB of internal NAND flash.
The router runs RouterOS v7 with a Level 3 license, providing administrators with advanced routing, firewall, and VPN support. Data transfer is handled by a built-in Category 4 LTE modem (EG25-G), offering download speeds of up to 150 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 50 Mbps. Communication and power are provided by a single Gigabit Ethernet port supporting the PoE-in standard (12-57V, 802.3af/at compliant). The advantage of this design is its exceptionally low power consumption, which reaches a maximum of just 5 W.
