The MikroTik hAP be lite is a compact Wi-Fi 7 router (BE3600) supporting MLO technology. Equipped with a 2.5 GbE port, three 1 GbE ports, and an ARM processor with 512 MB RAM, it delivers high performance while consuming up to 12 W. It runs RouterOS v7 L4, offering advanced routing and VPN.
MikroTik hAP be lite – Compact Wi-Fi 7 router with RouterOS
MikroTik hAP be lite (A42G-HbeP) is a compact Wi-Fi 7 router and access point. The device is based on a dual-core ARM processor clocked at 950 MHz, supported by 512 MB of DDR3 RAM and 128 MB of NAND flash. This specification ensures stable support for advanced network features and high traffic volumes while maintaining very low power consumption. The router runs RouterOS v7 (License Level 4). It provides complete freedom in configuring VLANs, VPNs, advanced firewall rules, and traffic shaping. It also supports the CAPsMAN system for centrally managing multiple access points.
The device's radio module offers BE3600-class combined throughput. The router fully supports Multi-Link Operation (MLO), which allows for the simultaneous use of multiple bands for data transmission, minimizing latency and increasing stability in dense wireless network environments. A triple-chain module with 7 dBi antennas is responsible for transmission in the 5 GHz band, enabling speeds of up to 2882 Mbps. The 2.4 GHz network is supported by a dual-chain system with 4.4 dBi antennas, offering throughput of up to 688 Mbps. The system is, of course, backward compatible with older Wi-Fi standards (from 802.11a/b/g to 802.11ax).
The device is equipped with a total of four RJ45 ports supported by the AN7563PT switch chip. The main connection, dedicated to fast workstations, NAS servers, or high-performance ISP connections (uplink), is one 2.5GbE port. It is supplemented by three standard 1GbE ports. The router is powered via a USB-C port (5V/2.4A), and its maximum power consumption is just 12W. The included stand allows for stable installation of the device in either portrait or landscape orientation, and the components used are designed to operate in harsh thermal conditions, ranging from -40°C to +50°C.
