Wtyk modularny RJ-45 (8P8C) przeznaczony do zakańczania 4-parowych przewodów typu skrętka w instalacjach okablowania strukturalnego. Produkt dedykowany jest do przewodów kategorii 5e, okrągłych typu drut.

Złącze w standardzie 8P8C (8 pozycji, 8 styków) jest zgodne z kategorią 5e i przeznaczone do pracy w sieciach opartych na okablowaniu miedzianym. Konstrukcja nieekranowana przeznaczona jest do instalacji wykorzystujących przewody UTP.
