Bezprzewodowy router Tenda EX12 jest przeznaczony do pracy w pasmach 2,4 i 5 GHz jednocześnie. Obsługuje Wi-Fi 6 i wspiera protokoły IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax. Maksymalna, przepustowość sieci bezprzewodowej wynosi 3000 Mb/s. Standard Wi-Fi 6 wprowadza również inne, przydatne funkcje - MU-MIMO (jednoczesne nadawanie i odbieranie danych od wielu klientów, które niweluje zjawisko kolejkowania danych), Beamforming (kształtowanie wiązki w celu poprawy zasięgu) i szyfrowanie WPA3. Istnieje możliwość użycia EX12 w sieci Mesh, w obrębie której wiele urządzeń może komunikować się ze sobą bezprzewodowo, bez konieczności podłączenia kablem Ethernet.Oferowany produkt jest wyposażony w 3 gigabitowe porty Ethernet, w tym 1 uniwersalny port WAN / LAN i 2 porty LAN.
