Ubiquiti Flex 2.5G PoE – 2.5GbE Switch with 10GbE Uplink
The Ubiquiti Flex 2.5G PoE (USW-Flex-2.5G-8-PoE) is a Layer 2 switch designed to power demanding devices and support very fast data transmission. The device is equipped with eight 2.5 GbE output RJ45 ports, each supporting PoE++ power delivery (up to 64W per port). The main connection to the network (uplink) is achieved via a hybrid (combo) port, which includes one 10 GbE RJ45 connector and one 10G SFP+ fiber optic connector.
The switch can be powered directly through the 10 GbE RJ45 port using PoE or via an AC power adapter (sold separately). The total PoE power budget available to connected devices scales depending on the selected power source: 16 W with PoE+ input, 46 W with PoE++, 76 W with PoE+++ input, and reaches 196 W with a dedicated AC power adapter.
The device offers a switching capacity of 60 Gbps, a non-blocking capacity of 30 Gbps, and a packet forwarding rate of 45 Mpps. The software supports a rich set of network features such as STP and RSTP, Port Isolation, Port Mirroring, Storm Control, Jumbo frame support, Loop Protection and support for up to 256 VLANs. The polycarbonate housing (weighing less than 567 grams) allows for easy mounting on a desk, wall, DIN rail, or even metal surfaces (magnetic and DIN rail mounts sold separately).
