Ubiquiti UniFi Premium Patch Cable – Ultra-Thin 10 GbE Braided Patch Cord (Cat 6A, 3 m)

Ubiquiti UniFi Premium Patch Cable (UACC-Cable-Patch-EL-C6A-3M-W) is a 3 m indoor patch cord designed for stable operation in networks with throughput up to 10 Gb/s (10 GbE). The cable is made using UTP (unshielded twisted pair) technology using flexible copper stranding. The cable has an ultra-thin profile that simplifies cable management and improves airflow in dense server racks.

The patch cord features semi-transparent RJ45 plug covers. These covers are specifically designed to work with the UniFi Etherlighting™ system. These covers evenly distribute illumination from compatible switch ports across the plug, making it easier to identify active connections or assigned VLANs. The cable's outer sheath is made of flexible thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) and additionally protected by a durable braid.

To maintain optimal transmission parameters, the manufacturer has varied the wire thickness depending on their length. Cables ranging from 0.15 m to 8 m have an outer diameter of just 3 mm (using 34 AWG wires). For longer variants (12 and 15 meters) the diameter is 3.3 mm (32 AWG wires). Despite their miniature cross-sections, the patch cords are fully adapted to transmit power and easily support devices powered according to the PoE+++ standard.
