The Ubiquiti airMAX PowerBeam 5AC is a 5 GHz PtP/PtMP radio bridge (airMAX AC) with a 25 dBi gain dish. It provides a range of over 15 km and throughput of over 450 Mbps. It also includes a 1 GbE RJ45 port (passive PoE 24V, 8.5W consumption) and an additional 2.4 GHz radio for local configuration via the app.

Ubiquiti airMAX PowerBeam 5AC (PBE-5AC-Gen2) is a point-to-point (PtP) radio bridge operating in the 5 GHz band, equipped with an integrated parabolic dish. The device is compatible with other devices from the airMAX series and can function as a 5 GHz client station, a general receiver station (Station), or a base station in point-to-multipoint (PtMP) installations. The system utilizes the airMAX AC protocol, allowing for stable connections with channel widths up to 80 MHz in PtP mode. The integrated radio components enable real data throughput exceeding 450 Mbps and wireless link deployment over distances exceeding 15 kilometers.
Power delivery and data transmission take place over a single Gigabit network port (1 GbE RJ45) using passive 24V PoE power (a 24V 0.5A power supply is included in the set). The device itself consumes a maximum of 8.5W. The feedhorn housing and the dish (with a 25 dBi gain) are manufactured from UV-resistant polycarbonate and powder-coated steel (SPCC). The antenna is designed to operate in the harshest weather conditions. It withstands wind loads up to 200 km/h, and its resistance to wind-driven rain, salt fog, thermal shock, and vibration has been confirmed through rigorous testing.
The software offers a wealth of practical features useful for network maintenance, including routing, DHCP server, Traffic Shaping, Ping Watchdog, and advanced connection statistics. In addition to the main 5 GHz radio interface, the PBE-5AC-Gen2 model is equipped with an additional 2.4 GHz radio dedicated exclusively to local wireless configuration of the antenna via a dedicated mobile app. A complete, dedicated pole mount kit is included in the package.
