TP-Link Archer C80 Dual Band Gigabit AC Wireless Router, MU-MIMO, 1900 Mb/s
TP-Link Archer C80 is a wireless router designed to operate in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands simultaneously. It has 5 gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mb/s), supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n (2.4 GHz) and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/av-wave2 standards. It uses 3x3 MIMO in both bands, so the maximum theoretical throughput according to the manufacturer is 600 Mb/s in the 2.4 GHz band and 1300 Mb/s in the 5 GHz band. The router supports Beamforming technology to improve the transmission range and MU-MIMO - simultaneous sending and receiving data from many users.
The offered product is equipped with numerous functions for network personalization. It has built-in parental controls, thanks to which you can block inappropriate content and set daily Internet access limits. You can create a guest network from which users will not have access to the resources of the main network. Archer C80 uses Airtime Fariness, which introduces TDMA (time division) technology for WiFi transmission, which significantly improves the connection throughput (older devices that need more time to respond do not affect the throughput). The router also supports Smart Connect, thanks to which clients automatically connect to a less loaded Wi-Fi band.
Archer C80 supports VLANs and IPTV / VoIP just like other TP-Link routers. You can assign a specific VLAN ID to Internet / VoIP / IPTV transmission, you choose which port a given transmission is sent on. The "IPTV multicast VLAN" option is also available. Management can be done via the Tether application available for mobile devices.
