The MikroTik KNOT LR8G kit is a compact, industrial-grade IoT gateway designed for LoRa®-based networks, delivering affordable and reliable connectivity in remote or infrastructure-light environments. It integrates LoRa® 868 MHz with enhanced reception, LTE CAT-M1/NB2, Bluetooth 5.2, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n), and GPS, making it a versatile solution for smart asset tracking, remote monitoring, and efficient automation. Powered by a 650 MHz QCA9531 CPU, 64 MB RAM, and 128 MB NAND storage, it runs RouterOS v7 with a License Level 4, offering advanced routing, custom scripting, and full control. The device features two 100 Mbps Ethernet ports with PoE-in and PoE-out, a NanoSIM slot, a MicroUSB port, and SMA female connectors for LoRa®, LTE, and GPS antennas. With low power consumption (6 W without attachments), DIN rail mounting, and a rugged design, it’s ideal for industrial, agricultural, and smart city applications.
