OPTIX ARAMID Z-XOTKtcdD cable: a central loose construction (20kg/km), great flexibility and durability against dragging, diameter: ˜5.5mm, gel and construction for water blocking (WB), HDPE jacket, resistant to UV radation, temperature range -40°C - 70°C, 2 reinforced FRP rods (∅ 0.4mm) or an ARP rod and reinforced by aramid yarns, fully dielectric, equivalent: ARAMID Z-XOTKtcdD. Maximum installation tension: 1200N.
The cable System is based on Optical Fiber Cable Color Coding. The tube contains up to 24 optical fibers, filled with a hydrophobic gel. The center of the cable is protected against water intrusion through moisture wicking fibers. The HDPE coat is fitted with two rods: ARP or FRP to provide better structural strength. The cable is further enhanced by aramid yarns. The fiber optic cable was fitted with a ripcord - a thin but very strong thread embedded just below the cable Jacket. The cables are designed for installation in primary and secondary, teletechnical canalization by pneumatic (cable blowing) and mechanical (cable jetting) methods, and for aerial installation on a span of up to 80 meters.
