Ubiquiti Siren (USL-Siren) is a fully weatherproof alarm siren designed as an active deterrent in the UniFi ecosystem Protect. The device generates a loud 110 dB audible signal, supported by a built-in LED warning ring (RGBW). Using the SuperLink wireless protocol, the siren offers an impressive communication range of up to 2 kilometers in open spaces. Please note that a SuperLink Gateway base station is required for siren configuration and operation.
The compact housing (dimensions approx. 14 x 14 x 3.5 cm) is made of a combination of durable polycarbonate and aluminum alloy and has an IP56 rating. This means protection against water jets and dust ingress, and also guarantees stable operation in extreme temperatures (from -30°C to +50°C). The device can be permanently connected to a 12–24V DC power source or powered by four CR123A batteries. Additionally, if your infrastructure allows, it's worth considering the UP-Siren-PoE model, which is a twin version of this device based solely on wired communication and power supply (PoE).
The security of the installation itself is enhanced by a built-in tamper switch, which immediately triggers an alarm and sends a notification to the administrator in the event of an unauthorized attempt to disassemble or remove the device from the wall. Additionally, the siren has a physical input signal terminal. Full management is via the UniFi Protect app (web and mobile), allowing you to create advanced automation rules.
