TP-Link Tapo L430C is a candle-shaped (B38) smart LED bulb with a standard E14 thread. The bulb generates a luminous flux of 470 lumens at a maximum power consumption of 4.8 W, equivalent to a traditional 40 W incandescent bulb. The bulb's double-layer construction allows for smoother, more even light dispersion across a 260° angle and minimizes glare. The bulb offers a full RGB color palette (16 million colors) and smooth white light temperature adjustment from 2500 K (warm) to 6500 K (cool). The bulb also allows for deep dimming of the LEDs down to 1% (below 6 lumens).

Communication with the bulb is via a Wi-Fi network interface operating in the 2.4 GHz band (Wi-Fi 4), supported by Bluetooth only during initial pairing with the app. The bulb operates completely autonomously – it connects directly to your home router without the need for additional gateways (hubs). The Tapo app gives you access to schedule creation and built-in hardware monitoring of real-time energy consumption. The device natively integrates with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant voice assistants, as well as the Samsung SmartThings platform.

The bulb's software offers several automation modes. One of these is the Auto Biorhythm function, which dynamically adjusts the color temperature and brightness to the current time of day and the natural solar cycle. Away Mode is also available, which randomly turns the lights on and off when no one is present. The bulb has a lifespan of 25,000 hours and a durability of 15,000 switching cycles. The package contains two pieces.
